Huayhuash considered among the 10 most beautiful trekking circuits in the world and is one of the most impressive mountain ranges of the Peruvian Andes. In its 30 km from North to South, 7 mountains over 6000 meters and 7 elevations of more than 5500 meters; its varied and unparalleled scenery and panoramic views make it unique in natural beauty.

Itinerary:
Day 1: Huaraz 3100masl. - Huanuco Pampa 3900masl. - Queropalca 3800masl.
We will start our departure from Huaraz by private bus heading south, passing through the provinces of Recuay, Ticapampa, and Catac. Reaching the altitude of (4050 m) Conococha, from there we will turn to the East, following the road, passing by Huallanca, La Union and Huanuco Pampa. Finally arriving at the camp of Queropalca 3800m. Small town belonging to the Department of Huanuco (7 to 8 hours driving)

Day 2: Queropalca 3800masl. - Carhuacocha Lagoon 4100masl.
We will begin our trek up the valley with destination to our camp. During the trip we will observe the imposing snowy of Siula, Yerupaja Chico, Yerupaja, and the snowy Jirishanca finally we will culminate our trek in the lagoon Carhuacocha (4100 masl) and set up our campsite. (4 to 5 hours approx.).

Day 3: Carhuacocha Lagoon 4100masl. - Extra day.
This day will be a reason to visit Siula Lagoon. (4 to 5 hours approx.).

Day 4: Carhuacocha Lagoon 4100masl. - Carhuac Pass 4630masl. - Camp Mitucocha 4270masl
We will start our hike on a well-marked foot path, which will take us to the Carhuac Pass (4630m). This is an important point for observing the impressive snow-capped mountains that surround them. Finally, we will be going down the valley to our next campsite at Mitucocha 4270m.

Day 5: Camp Mitucocha 4200masl. - Cacananpunta 4700masl. - Cuartelhuain 4100masl.
Our hike begins in the morning towards the Cacananpunta pass (4700masl), a very popular pass where trekking often begins. Then we will descend to our next campsite at Cuartelhuain (4100masl) (5 to 6 hours approx.).
Overnight place Cuartelhuain (4100masl).
Day 6: Cuartehuain 4100masl. - Sambunya Pass 4750masl. - Jahuacocha Lagoon 4100masl.
We will continue our morning hike up on a not very visible trail that will take us to the Sambunya pass 4750masl. A strategic place where we will obtain impressive panoramic views of the Huayhuash Cordillera and its imposing snow-capped mountains. Now we will continue the hike down the valley, passing by Solteracocha Lake and Jahuacocha (4100masl). Arriving at the mouth of the lagoon where we will camp (6 to 7 hours).
Overnight stay at Jahuacocha Lagoon 4100masl.
Day 7: Lagoon Jahuacocha 4100masl. - Huacrish viewpoint 4790masl. - Laguna Jahuacocha 4100masl.
we will initiate our trek following the zigzagging way by the valley of Huacrish, non-frequent way that took us until to the viewpoint Huacrish (4790masl), special point where we will obtain a spectacular panorama of the Mountain range Huayhuash and the Lagoon Jahuacocha. Finally, we will return to our camp of the day (4 to 5 hours approx.).
Overnight place Laguna Jahuacocha 4100masl.
Day 8: Jahuacocha Lagoon 4100masl. - Pampa Llamac 4300masl. - Llamac 3250masl. - Huaraz 3100masl.
Finally culminating our adventure we will follow the ascent of the last pass called Pampa Llamac (4300masl), where we will appreciate for the last time the imposing snowy mountains of the Cordillera Huayhuash, next we will descend by the well-marked path that will take us to the town of Llamac (4300masl), it is there where our private transport awaits for us that will take us to our place of departure, Huaraz (3100masl) end of the expedition (4 to 5 hours approximately of long walk and 4 to 5 hours of trip in bus).
Return to Huaraz.
